METAHUMAN

Creating realistic human characters previously was a long and tedious experience but thanks to Metahuman, artists can design new, unique looking realistic characters in minutes exporting them out for use in games. Epic has just launched the ability to use Metahuman within Fortnite as non-player characters with player characters sure to come in the future. 

NEW MECHANICS AND SYSTEMS

Epic Games is planning to bring many more features to UEFN over the next couple years including First Person Camera, Orbit Camera Open Worlds and a Variety of Physics capabilities expanding what will be possible in Fortnite in the future.
